We are sorry to announce that due to scheduling issues we have had to cancel our Showjumping shows at Sparsholt College on Feb 4th and March 3rd.

Keep your eyes on our calendar for more dates to be added later this year!

Unfortunatly we have had to cancel our August show at Priory Equestrian to allow for repairs to be made to the indoor school. This is essential maintenance that needs to take place, but unfortunatly the work will clash with our show. We will be back at Priory on the 4th September.

Don't forget that we are also running our first BD show at the South of England Show ground, Ardingly on Tuesday 20th September. The schedule for this is now online, with classes from Novice - PSG there is somthing for everyone!

We are also still waiting for Sparsholt to complete the surface upgrades, and unfortunatly this now looks like it wont be completed in time before September. Our next show at Sparsholt will be for the start of the Winter season, with our first indoor show in October - we hope you will all join us then!

Dont forget we have a jammed packed winter of Showjumping at both Sparsholt College and Berkshire College, and we hope to see you all in October!

6/6/2011 - Important Announcement

We are very sad to announce that we have had to cancel our BS shows at Sparsholt College on the 11^th June & 2^nd July. However, this is only to allow for the very exciting plans that Sparsholt have to refurbish their large outdoor school, to enable us to run bigger and even better shows. We were not happy to just run one ring shows as we feel this doesn’t allow us the classes that have been so popular amongst our competitors, nor could we make use of all of the colleges wonderful facilities.

Please accept our apologies for the delay in making this official announcement, however we are aiming to hopefully be up and running again by August, but we should hopefully have a better idea in a few weeks time and we will make an official announcement then.

We hope you will all be as excited as we are about the shows that we will be running as soon as the improvements have been made, and we look forward to seeing you all then!

BD Show at Priory Equestrian, 14th May 2011

Please note - BD have published the incorrect tests for this show in the magazine, the test's shown on our calendar of events are the correct tests for this show. If competitors wish to call for times, they may do so on 07502 371 660 between 18:00 - 20:00.

BS Show at Sparsholt on 7th May
We're very disappointed to announce that the show on 7 May at Sparsholt is CANCELLED as we're currently waiting for improved surface management procedures to be put in place. Hopefully the Scope qualifiers (Smarter Transport Training 1.15m Members Cup & Sport Horse Classic Blue Riband 1.20m) can be re-scheduled to either 11 June or 2 July.

SHOW CANCELLED
Unfortunately, due to terrible weather and dangerous road conditions, we are unable to hold the BSJA show scheduled for Sunday 19 December at Berkshire College. Very sorry everybody!

Next show is at Sparsholt College on 8 January - hope the weather is better then!

The show on Saturday is definatly running!!

Despite the bout of cold weather this week, Sparsholt has been relatively unaffected and the show on Saturday is definatly going ahead.

Dont forget that pre entries will be open until 9pm on Friday night, and entries will be taken on the day!

***Saturday Ponies are Running - Clear Round for Seniors in the afternoon***

We have had more entries for Saturdays show overnight, so the pony show on Saturday will go ahead. We are not anticipating a busy show, so we are going to offer schooling rounds/clear round to anyone - please call us on Saturday morning for an approx time if you would like to come - heights will be set according to demand.

Juniors - dont forget your pre entries for classes on Saturday close on Friday night at 9pm, but we will take entries on the day.

All classes and clear round will run indoors with outdoor warm up.

Although we have received some entries for our show on Saturday, we have not received anywhere near enough pre entries to warrant us allowing the show to go ahead. We are now asking that if you intend to compete at the show on Saturday, to submit your entries to us before 4 pm TOMORROW afternoon – if we do not have sufficient entries by 4pm tomorrow, then we shall have to make the very tough decision to cancel.

We are keen to support juniors by running shows at Sparsholt, but if we don’t receive enough entries to warrant us running the shows then it make it very hard for us to factor them into our calendar. If you would like to see more junior shows at Sparsholt, then we do urge you to inform all you know to support them!

We will send out an update at 4pm tomorrow to inform everyone if the show is going ahead – of course we will inform everyone of what the decision is at 4pm tomorrow. If we do decide to cancel the show then those who have entered will receive a full refund.

***Exciting news for all BE members***

Real Shows and Events is very pleased to announce that we will be offering all British Eventing members a free ticket to ride (worth £6!!!!) at any of our winter Affiliated showjumping shows!!!

Simply bring your BE membership number with your when you come to enter, and claim your free ticket to ride! This applies to any of our BS shows at either BCA or Sparsholt college!

Pre entries for Sunday’s show at BCA will close at 9pm on Sunday evening – but don’t worry, if you are unable to make a pre entry we will take entries on the day for all classes. If you are planning to enter on the day and want to find out how the classes are running, do feel free to give us a call before you leave on 07502 371 660.

Important note about Berkshire College

BCA have a strict health and safety policy that restricts us to only allowing 8 horses in the warm up arena at any one time. We will do our best to co-ordinate the warm up so the next 8 horses to jump will have priority in the warm up arena – we appreciate your co operation on this matter!

We have recieved our approved draft back from British Showjumping for our shows on the 10th & 23rd October and details can now be found on our Calendar of Events page. If you have never used our online entry system - why not give it a try! It is quick and simple to use, and you can use it to pre enter up until 9pm the night before each show jumping show!

Real Shows is very disappointed to announce that our 12th September Senior BSJA show has had to be cancelled. Unfortunately the sponsoship that would have allowed us to run this extra date has not been confirmed. We still have a full schedule of senior classes on Saturday 11 September - we hope to see you there!

***Breaking News***

We are very excited to announce that there will be a new Andrews Bowen surface laid on the bottom arena (nearest the Secretary office) at Sparsholt later this week. Once this has been laid, it will play host to the second ring classes for all our future outdoor British Showjumping shows. The surface is due to be laid later this week, just in time for our next show on the 3rd July.

We hope you are all as excited about this news as we are and our thanks go to Sparsholt for providing such top quality facilities, without which we wouldnt be able to run our shows.

We have had more pony entries over night so these classes will go ahead, as long as there are at least 3 entered in each class.

Any one intending to come and enter on the day, could you please email or call us to make us aware that you are planning to come just so we can get a better idea of numbers.

Senior classes are filling up, and entries for all classes will of course be taken on the day of the show tomorrow. Don't forget that we are now able to take payment by credit or debit card on the day of the show!

As yet we have had very few entries for the Pony classes on Saturday. If you are a pony rider and are planning to come to the show, please give us a call or an email to let us know you are intending to come.

We will need at least 3 entries per class to allow them to run. If we do not get these numbers then we will have to re-asses the afternoon classes.

We are pleased to announce that we are now able to accept credit & debit card payments on the day of all of our British Showjumping shows!

We will also continue to accept payment by cheque or cash, and don't forget you can always pre enter using our online system with your card any time of the day or night.

This is a notice to all Junior riders who are intending to come for the pony classes at Sparsholt on Saturday. As yet, we have had no entries for the pony classes.

If we have not recieved any entries for the pony classes by 10am tomorrow morning, the pony classes will be cancelled and we will run schooling rounds all afternoon.

This will be strictly adhered to.

Entries for all other classes are open as normal, and will close at 9pm tomorrow night.

We are very excited to announce that Real Shows have been allocated TWO National Amateur second round qualifiers.

These will be held at Sparsholt College on the 23rd October. Further information will be announced soon, with a full Winter Schedule availiable later in the summer.

Schedules for all our summer shows are now live in the calendar of events, including our British Dressage shows, to be held at Priory Equestrian in Frensham.

Pre entries for this Saturday's British Showjumping show will be open as usual until 9pm on Friday evening - but don't panic if you miss the deadline, as entries for all classes will be taken on the day. With clases ranging from Ponies to 1.30 Seniors, there will be somthing for everyone. We are also very excited to be holding 1.05 and 1.15 Scope qualifier's at this show, further details about these classes can be found in the Schedule, under Calendar of Events.

A note for all competitors - we wont be running our usual warm up rounds at this show, as we have such a busy schedule, so apologies! However you can expect them at most of our other summer shows!

We look forward to seeing you all at Sparsholt on Sunday - and remeber, all classes and warm up's are on Sparsholt's superb surfaces!

We are very happy to announce that our schedule for the 17th April is now online and entries are now being taken! Don't forget you can enter online up until 9pm the night before all of our BSJA shows, and entries will of course be taken on the day for all BSJA shows.

Thanks to everyone who made it to the show today - it was great to see everyone out, and we look forward to seeing you all again at our last BSJA show of the winter at Sparsholt next Saturday, the 13th February.

Our BSJA shows at Sparsholt will then resume on the 17th April when all classes will be run in Sparsholt's stunning outdoor arenas!

We are also pleased to announce that entries for all show jumping classes will now be accepted until 9pm the evening before each show!

We are very excited to announce that Neil Theobald will be building in the main ring for our first summer show at Sparsholt, on the 17th April 2010. Neil will also be building in the main arena for our two day show on the 11th & 12th September.

We are really looking forward to getting outside and into Sparsholt's wonderful outdoor facilities. We are currently working on our summer schedule, and as soon as we have had it confirmed, details will of course be added to our Calendar of Events.

We are very excited to announce our confirmed Summer 2010 BSJA dates at Sparsholt College. These will all be two ring shows, held outdoors in Sparsholts superb arena's. We are currently working on the schedule, and as soon as we have the final copy, details will be of course added to the Calendar of Events. The dates and categories we are running are as follows:

Just to confirm to everyone, we are definitley running the show this weekend. Don't forget that entries close at 7pm on Friday 22nd January.
